For my graduation at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague I made an audio installation with my own composition of sounds based on my experiences in the dark after an accident where I fell on my head. I asked musicians to make sounds for me, and with these sounds I composed this audio piece. As a result of this accident I spent 6 weeks in the dark in my bedroom below the waterline because I couldn't stand light. I had just moved to my houseboat and through sound and movement I got to know my new environment. A process of waiting, despair, sadness, gloom, surrender but ultimately also hope.
